WEIGHT WATCHERS WEEK 29

Another 1kg off tonight...we've been given a 12 week challenge and mine is to lose 20lb (9kg)...should be do-able if I don't go mad in Grenoble in May. Total loss 23kg 500g

DONE DEAL

Thanks to golfer's tenacity and footballer's generosity (they're good these sportsmen), the flat is ours! The paperwork is with the Solicitor and we are going to check that the work is completed to our satisfaction on Thursday; we should be moving within...

PERFECT PARENTS?

Why is it that there are some people we just love to hate? Coming back on the Seacat from Cherbourg on Monday, golfer and I had the (very dubious) pleasure of sitting next to the perfect textbook parents. Her: scruffy and unkept in a t-shirt and track...

WEIGHT WATCHERS WEEK 28

Minus 750g tonight in spite of all the vodka, pate, cheese, fudge, pavlova, ice cream, tart, wine, pistachio nuts et al...I must be doing something right! Total loss 22kg 500g

WEIGHT WATCHERS WEEK 26

Minus 750g tonight and I really don't think I deserved it...golfer and I had a wonderful curried leg of lamb followed by cream filled meringues last Saturday, all lovingly cooked by our friends Rosemary and Tony, and I won't even mention the VERY LARGE...

On Sunday golfer and I went to see Nicolas Cage in a sci-fi adventure called 'Knowing'. It's a classic disaster movie culminating in...no, I'd better not tell you the end, it's not quite like other films where the hero wins through and everyone lives...

WEIGHT WATCHERS WEEK 25

This is getting tedious now. Minus 500g tonight and I'm assured it's because I've lost a lot of weight and am going through a slow patch...I'll say! Got to step it up as the Summer is approaching, I want to be able to wear a bathing costume this year...yeah,...
